Coming back to blog?

Gosh... It has been quite sometimes until the last time i post an entry here. I used to love to write about computer and stuff but I guess I don't have much time as I was back then as a student.

Anyway, technology advances really fast! I had a desktop that I custom built myself a few years ago. It was considered quite high end already at that time (dual core processor with 8GB of RAM + other hi end parts) but now it is already obsolete (but still OK though). Now we had core i7 with multicore processor which is much better than older core 2 quad or duo. DDR3 RAM also becomes pretty much standard already even for netbook computer! However, is such power can be fully utilized by the software? In fact there is very little games can make full use of multi threading power of today's processors. But of course when you build a computer, you want it to be future proof. You probably wouldn't want to stuck with LGA 775 socket of mobo with limited RAM to DDR2 only and lacks of PCI-E slots. But yeah this will come into cost issue cuz it is not cheap to build a future proof PC.

However if you don't need such power, you can always opt for a cheaper option like quad core processors with a decent motherboard. In the end of the day, you don't want to waste your money into something that you don't really use/need. That's all I think for now. Honestly I don't really know whether or not there will be next post. Plus, I kinda write this to myself cuz I don't think I have any readers lol!
